Reflection
Jesus travels from village to village, preaching the good news of the Kingdom of God. He is accompanied by the Twelve Apostles and various women who provide for them out of their resources.
Often, we might think of Jesus traveling with his male disciples, but in fact, women, such as Mary Magdalene, accompanied him too. Christ came to preach the good news to everyone, right from the beginning of his ministry.
Each person has their role to play in evangelization efforts. For some, it is preaching or teaching. For others, it is providing goods or resources. Whatever your talent, God asks you to bring it to his table and use your gifts to spread his love and mercy in the world. Reflect on the gifts you have been given in this life, and ask the Holy Spirit how you can use them for the glory of God’s kingdom.
