“And I tell you, ask and you will receive;
luke 11:9
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Reflection
Jesus tells his disciples to ask and they will receive, seek and they will find, knock and the door will be opened. We can always approach our Lord with this attitude of inquisitiveness. He wants us to ask for things and seek out truth.
The only way to grow in our spiritual life is to continually seek out Christ. He will help you grow in relationship with him and thus grow closer. If we stayed stagnant in our faith our entire lives, we wouldn’t discover all the beauty Christ wants to offer us in this life and the next. He implores us to ask, seek, and knock.
When we come to him with a willing heart to dive into his love and our relationship with him, beautiful transformations within ourselves can take place. Are you willing to ask this of Jesus?

| “God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next.” St. John Henry Newman |
