Gospel Reflection – March 12, 2026

Jesus drives out a demon and the people say that he does so by the power of Beelzebul. Jesus then asks them how Satan can stand if his kingdom is divided against itself. For whoever is not with Christ is against him, and whoever does not gather with him scatters.

We see the truth of this statement in our world today. When people are not centered around Christ, they are scattered and lost. Some turn to twisted ideologies that make them feel good, while others abandon God or turn to another religion. Jesus is the one who provides answers and meaning, gives hope and comfort to the lost.

When we are far from him, our lives are usually a mess and confusion reigns. Yet if we turn to Christ and stand with him, allowing him to guide us on our earthly journey, clarity is provided and peace reigns. How can you gather yourself closer to our Lord today?
