Reflection
We hear Mary’s Magnificat today. She glorifies God and gives thanks that he has looked upon his lowly servant and blessed her so richly. Mary’s praise and love for God is beautiful to meditate on. Her soul “proclaims the greatness of the Lord.”
Not only her mouth and heart, but her entire soul proclaims God’s goodness, love, and mercy. Does your soul do the same? Do you truly glorify God in your soul? Ask the Lord for the grace to more deeply love him and pursue him heart, mind, body, and soul.

| St. Chaeromon was an elderly bishop in Egypt. When intense persecutions from the Roman emperor began, he is believed to have fled and presumably been martyred for the faith. St. Chaeromon, pray for us! |
