Gospel Reflection – November 2, 2025

Jesus tells the crowds that everything the Father gives him will come to him, and he will not reject anyone who comes to him. Jesus says he will raise what is given to him on the last day, because the will of his Father is for everyone who sees the Son and believes in him to have eternal life.

Jesus gives us a very hopeful message today. He says he will not reject anyone who comes to him. How lucky we are that we know Christ and choose to follow him. He gives us hope that we will be raised on the last day to spend eternity with our Lord, forever rejoicing in his presence.

When we sincerely come before Jesus, commit to follow him our entire lives, and live out our faith, we not only grow in virtue, but in our relationship with the Lord. Jesus wants to embrace us wholeheartedly – let him do so.
