Reflection
Jesus preaches the famous Beatitudes to the crowds. Those who are meek, poor, merciful, peacemakers, clean of heart, etc. will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Today is the Solemnity of All Saints, and every saint portrayed one of these Beatitudes in a special way.
We are all called to be saints. We might not think being a saint is feasible, but it is. Jesus gives us the Beatitudes as great examples to follow and live out in our own lives. The promise for doing so is heaven itself. Reflect on how you can focus on the Beatitudes as a way of life, and ask the Lord for courage to live out his perfect teaching.
