Many people followed him, and he cured them all.
matthew 12:15
Reflection
The Pharisees meet and decide to put Jesus to death. Because of this, Jesus withdraws to a different place and cures the people that follow him.
Even when Jesus’ life is in danger, he takes time to cure the people that follow him. He doesn’t shy away from loving all who come to him, healing them from their infirmities. In a most difficult moment, he still makes his beloved people a priority.
Can we imitate Jesus? During difficult moments of our lives, are we still compassionate towards others? Do we take time to be present and helpful in the ways we can be? Let us begin to be there for others in need, even during our moments of need. Practicing Jesus’ love and compassion brings us closer to Christ himself.
