As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him.

Reflection
Jesus and the disciples cross the sea of Galilee once more, and when they land, many people bring their sick to him. As he travels the area, he heals many.
The people recognized Jesus in their midst and brought the sick to be healed by him. They knew his appearance and believed in what he could do for them. Do we always recognize Jesus in our lives? Whether through another person or in our hearts, Jesus can make himself present to us – we need to be paying attention.
Jesus wants to heal us, whatever it might be. He comes to us and offers such healing, but sometimes we don’t recognize the means he uses. Pray for a greater awareness of the Lord and the willingness to accept help and healing in the form he desires for you.
