Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples.

A large number of people followed from Galilee and from Judea.

Reflection
Jesus and his disciples travel to the sea, where people from many different regions follow him. Many sick people desired to be healed, and when demons saw Jesus, they declared that he was the Son of God.
The people that followed Jesus came from all over, wanting to be healed and hear his words. They were eager to encounter Jesus – do we feel the same? Are we willing to go the extra mile to meet Jesus, whether it be physically at church or spiritually in our hearts?
Jesus wants us to come to him when we need healing and even when we don’t. He enjoys our company and wants us to simply be with him, letting his love transform our hearts. Go to Jesus today and converse with him. Let him in, let him heal your wounds, and let him rest there, filling you with his love.
