Reflection

Zechariah is filled with the Holy Spirit and recites his beautiful canticle.

On this Christmas Eve day, let’s reflect on the last line: “To guide our feet into the way of peace.” As we wait one last day until Christmas, think about how the Lord is patiently, gently, and lovingly guiding us into the path of true peace.

He desires for us to be at peace in our lives, wrapped in his loving embrace. Reflect on how the Holy Family will resemble a peaceful scene tomorrow, peacefully enjoying their Son and Savior. Let them guide your own heart to peace, love, and joy.

Saint of the Day

St. Adele: died AD 730

St. Adele was the daughter of King Dagobert II of Germany. When her husband died, she became a nun and founded a convent, known for leading with holiness. She most likely was also a disciple of St. Boniface. St. Adele, pray for us!
